Full Biography

Danielle Moore is a cultural strategist, institutional curator, and multi-platform founder operating at the intersection of literature, art, and economic infrastructure. With over 15 years of institutional and hospitality curatorial experience, she has built an interconnected ecosystem designed to shape culture, redistribute access, and create new economic pathways for Black communities.

As the founder of Semicolon Bookstore & Gallery, recognized by Reader's Digest as one of the Nicest Places in America, Danielle has transformed a neighborhood bookstore into a nationally recognized cultural institution, hosting exhibitions, community programming, and literary events that serve as a model for integrating art and commerce in service of community.

Her curatorial practice spans gallery exhibitions, Art Basel programming, brand partnerships, and large-scale hospitality art programs. She has developed art programs and site-specific commissions for properties including Kimpton Hotels, The Hoxton, Arlo Hotels, and W Hotel Panama City, bringing cultural depth and artistic rigor to luxury spaces worldwide.

Through Black Figure Bureau, Danielle connects contemporary Black artists with the brands, institutions, and cultural organizations that define our era, facilitating commissions, brand collaborations, and curatorial projects that honor artistic vision while creating sustainable pathways to ownership and recognition.
